FGCU MBB vs Colgate Preview

The FGCU men's basketball team (2-7) is set to play host to Colgate (5-3) out of the Patriot League at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 2 inside Alico Arena.

Last Time Out:
The Eagles suffered their fifth-straight loss of the season in a narrow 81-80 setback to Florida International (7-1) this past Wednesday inside Alico Arena, and are looking to end a five-game losing streak

FGCU shot 47.6 percent from the field as Florida International connected on nearly 50 percent of its shots. Redshirt junior Brady Ernst led FGCU with a career-high 15 points.

Junior RaySean Scott, Jr. had a career-high 14 rebounds and added 12 points for the first double-double of his career.

Scouting Colgate:
This will be the first time both teams will face each other. The Raiders are coming off of a 73-63 loss to USF in Tampa.

Sophomore Jordan Burns led the Raiders in the loss to USF as he finished with 17 points and leads the team with 16.6 points per game.

Another player for the Raiders that has been a factor is junior Rapolas Ivanauskas. Ivanauskas is averaging 16.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. The Lithuanian had 14 points and seven rebounds against USF and had a double-double in all but two games (@Syracuse and @USF)
