Bradenton, Fla - For the fourth time this season, Freshman Lochlan Radloff took home another weekly award for the RV SCF baseball team as he was named the NJCAA Region 8 Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week and the fourth time this season (March 4, March 11 and April 1). Additionally, it marks the sixth time the Manatees won a weekly award and the pitcher of the week (Oscar Hernandez: February 18; Daniel Hartley: March 18).
Radloff came off of throwing a seven inning shutout over #8 Indian River State (then #6) with zero walks and 11 strikeouts. Currently, the local product from Lakewood Ranch is currently 6-3 with a 3.43 ERA, 22 walks and 68 strikeouts. Additionally, his five complete games (four of them being shutouts) are the most in the state tied for the most in the nation.
The Manatees look to finish the remainder of their conference schedule on a strong note as they continue against Santa Fe on April 10.
