Leading the way offensively for FGCU was redshirt junior and A-SUN All-Conference First Team member Zach Johnson. Johnson finished with 28 points (11-17 FG, 4-6 3FG), four rebounds, three assists and one block.
Senior Christian Terrell finished with 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-4 3FG), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals.
Redshirt senior, A-SUN All-Conference First Team and A-SUN Player of the Year was held to nine points, two rebounds, four assists and one steal.
Redshirt junior Dinero Mercurius had nine points, one rebound and two assists.
Redshirt junior Michael Gilmore had five points and two rebounds.
Off the Eagles bench, redshirt senior Antravious Simmons had 18 points (6-8 FG, 6-10 FT), eight rebounds and one assist.
Sophomore RaySean Scott Jr had eight points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.
Freshman Brian Thomas had three points and two rebounds.
For the Spartans, redshirt junior Michael Cunnigham had 28 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Junior Malik Moore had 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals.
Senior Ramel Thompkins had 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
Junior Deion Holmes had seven points, four rebounds and one assist.
Junior A-SUN All-Academic Team member Jure Span had five points, one rebound and three assists.
Off the bench, junior Pat Welch had three points.
Redshirt freshman Thomas Booker had two points and one rebound.
Freshman Avery Diggs contributed with two rebounds.
Senior Carson Smith contributed with one rebound and one assist.
Freshman Isaiah Anderson contributed with two rebounds and one steal.
This was Upstate's official last men's basketball game in the A-SUN Conference as they will be leaving the A-SUN and will join the Big South Conference.
In the other conference tournament games, No. 5 UNF defeated No. 4 NJIT 80-76, No. 3 Jacksonville defeated No. 6 Kennesaw 87-68 and No. 2 Lipscomb defeated No. 7 Stetson 89-73.
So as it sits, It will be No. 1 FGCU vs No. 5 UNF and No. 2 Lipscomb vs No. 3 Jacksonville.
