FGCU MGolf: FAU Spring Championship Preview

The FGCU men's golf team preps for the FAU Spring Championship March 29-31, which will be contested on the par-72, 6,786-yard Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Fla.

The 54-hole tournament will be played across three days, with 18 holes each being contested Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The opening round will be a staggered start with FGCU teeing off beginning at 10:50 a.m. on the first hole. Round standings will determine tee times for the final two days.

The Eagles have been off for the past three weeks after finishing ninth at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. The Green and Blue have also posted a runner-up finish at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate after winning the Colin Montgomerie Invitational to kickoff the spring.

"We had a few weeks to focus on our weaknesses and short game," FGCU coach Eric Booker said. "The guys are rested and ready to compete."
